Improvements Follow-up editor
by Jeroen Bizot
In the past few weeks, we’ve made significant improvements to our follow-up editor, with the goal of making it easier and more powerful to use. You may have already noticed that the menus are better organized and the text is clearer. But there are even more new features:
Switching between profiles and sub-profiles within a follow-up action
You can now switch to another profile or sub-profile during a follow-up action, or even create a new profile. This allows you to send mailings to other or newly created profiles, giving you more flexibility in your follow-up.
New blocks for checking IP address, user-agent, and action origin
We’ve added new blocks that let you filter by IP address and user-agent (such as mobile devices). Additionally, it’s now possible to check the origin of an action. This allows you to, for example, determine whether a follow-up action should be executed if a profile was created in the Marketing Suite by a colleague or via an API call.
More powerful waiting times with cancellation options
Waiting times in follow-up have been improved with the ability to cancel previous waiting times. This is especially useful for creating "abandoned browsing" campaigns: for instance, you can set up a follow-up action that schedules an email to be sent an hour after each page visit. To prevent visitors from being overwhelmed with follow-up emails, you can automatically cancel previous waiting times.
