Copernica is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to strengthen our growing sales team.

What does a Senior Business Development Manager do at Copernica?

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you are responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that directly contribute to Copernica’s growth. You play a strategic role in entering new markets and expanding our customer base. You oversee the entire sales process, from prospecting to closing deals. This means following up on leads, giving demos, and negotiating contracts before handing customers over to Account Management. You will engage with prospects from leading companies, helping them optimize their marketing automation strategies.

Collaborating closely with colleagues and partners

Together with the marketing team, you continuously improve the sales process and lead generation, increasing efficiency and implementing smarter solutions. Your direct interactions with partners, prospects, and customers provide valuable feedback to our product team, ensuring ongoing improvements to our software and services.

Investing in your development

To engage with prospects at a high level, we invest in your development. This starts with a thorough onboarding process to familiarize you with our software, network, and processes. Additionally, we provide a training budget to further develop your skills as a business development manager.

The ideal candidate has/is:

  • Several years of experience in New Business Development

  • A high likability factor and lots of energy

  • At least a higher professional education (HBO) level of thinking and working

  • Affinity with IT and marketing

  • Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written

  • A true team player

  • Strong understanding of people and insight into how businesses operate

  • A good grasp of the general dynamics in a conversation between a buyer and a seller

  • Not afraid to reach out to (potential) customers by phone

  • Energized by working with deadlines and targets


Salary: €3750 - €6500
